INTRODUCTION

The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent, and international standardized tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions with a mission to improve equity and quality in education by developing and administering research-based valid, reliable, efficient, transparent, fair and international level assessments.
NTA has created a system that is promoting teaching (by teachers), learning (by students), and assessment (by parents and institutions). NTA strongly believes in the quality, efficiency, effectiveness, equity, and security of assessments. To practice these values, NTA is constantly engaging with its stakeholders, viz. students, parents, teachers, experts, and partner institutions.

The Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, is a premier Category ‘A’ training institution committed to providing an environment of excellence, discipline and holistic development to its Cadets. The College aims to nurture young minds into confident, capable and responsible future leaders through a balanced curriculum encompassing academic, physical, co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
RIMC’s primary mission is to serve as a feeder institution to the National Defence Academy (NDA) and the Indian Naval Academy (NAVAC), enabling Cadets to pursue a career in the Armed Forces and, in due course, provide quality leadership to the nation’s defence services. Its alumni have also brought great honour to the country by earning some of its highest military and civilian recognitions, including the Padma Vibhushan, Victoria Cross, Param Vir Chakra and Arjuna Award.

2. The responsibility of NTA is limited to inviting online applications for RIMC-2026, conduct of the RIMC-2026, processing and declaration of result and providing the merit list to the RIMC.
