Introduction
The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GOI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent and international standards tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher education institutions.
About NIFTEE
The National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) is the national-level entrance examination for admission to various programmes offered by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by NIFT to invite Online Application Forms and to conduct the entrance examination for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), NLEA (Lateral Entry), and Artisans, as per the guidelines prescribed by NIFT.
The examination is conducted across multiple cities in India in Computer Based Test (CBT) and Pen and Paper Based Test (PBT) modes, depending on the nature of the test component. NIFTEE assesses candidates on design aptitude, general ability, creativity, and programme-specific competencies as defined in the Admission Guidelines of NIFT.
